I'm googling it but to no avail I hate to be a bother.. Hi Emily! I can't seem to find an email associated with your Blogger ID What exactly is "restore point" and what does it do? I want to try this but I don't want to do anything that will mess up my machine. Kelley, A restore point is kind of like a bookmark you can set on your windows machine to "roll back to" if anything doesn't work correctly with the installation.
Usually the machine automatically does this when new software is installed, but this is just a way to manually make sure that you have a recent roll back spot. If you go to the "help" on your start up menu and type in "restore point" it should walk you through setting one step-by-step.

I just want to make sure I'm clear on everything. Sorry for the confusion Kelley! The point is that you can cut unwelded letters directly from word since the ttf fonts are vector based. In other words, you could type out the alphabet, go to "print" from word, choose to "print" to the craftrobo driver, and it would cut the letters out on your wishblade.
Now, you can use the wishblade software just as you have previously, except there is no way to do print and cuts Let me know if you have any other questions! Interesting, I would have never thought you could cut from Word. Thanks so much for the info. I can cut from Windows 7 now but I have a question about selecting media. Since the machine acts as a printer now, the "cut" button isn't enabled anymore. This allowed me to choose what I was cutting, pressure and cutting speed.
It also told me which cap to use. How do you handle this now? Kelley, I'm not sure there really will be a way to change the speed and pressure. You can always change the cap yourself, simply use yellow for thin, blue for normal, pink for thick. I know that I have accessed the wishblade controller using the old original wishblade drivers to "print" from illustrator.
Let me see if I can get to them via the craftrobo controller or not. I've owned this blue wishblade for since January - and thanks to you I can at least cut out text now.
It's not too happy with shapes yet - but I'll keep playing with the settings. There is a vista patch for the blue on the xyron site now, very hard to find - had to get the link from a yahoo group.
