I felt like a let a vampire into my house, and will now tell friends and family to stay clear of this company. I would NOT recommend. Pushy salesman came round who was very pushy.
Because we decided we would not commit to anything he got very moody. Said he could book us in for job if that helped? NO it wouldn't as we didn't want to get pushed into anything. He came to give a free quote said we charge extra for scaffolding to do the windows NO other company has tried that one! Eventually he left not very happy leaving a very expensive quote. Was this the end NOPE! Next day had a call and offered it a lot cheaper then wat quite was left.
But we was still NOT interested in using them. But they kept trying constant calls and emails even once made it obvious we was NOT interested. Totally unprofessional company. We went with a much better company in the end and it was more than half the price we was quoted to.
Excellent experience from start to finish. Great communication all the way through. Installation guys turned up on time, were very friendly and got stuck in straight away.
Very tidy and cleaned up at the end, you wouldn't even know they had been. Extremely happy with the whole experience and would not hesitate to recommend. I purposely left a breathing period of two months on 3rd November installation before writing this review to see if the after installation support is prompt and efficient.
I believe that any installation issues should be completed and rectified within a 2 month period or before, which is plenty of time to fix installation issues as a prompt efficient service. After much thought, patience and perseverance that period has now passed and I have come to the conclusion I am totally disappointed with the lack of after installation support and lack of promptness to fix issues with a two month old installation and details are below as to why I feel totally dissatisfied with this company and their installation.
I have had to resort to rework the front door myself as the render was falling out with large two inch holes and cold drafts coming in around the frame and the walls, also sealing up two windows.
This comes at at an additional cost to myself for the sealants purchased. Reasons for giving this review a one star: there are so many and when you sit back and take them all into account and the lack of commitment to fix them quickly it justifies a 1 star.
Crystal glazing have been payed in full for the installation and product so there is no reason for delays or to not turn up when they say they will, unless they want to blame it on COVID19 and not enough staff. There were no follow up calls to see if customer was happy with windows and installation.
Also no email address to report issues, a must for this day and age for efficient working. The only contact was to complete this review after installation and so here it is as my two months breathing period has now passed.
There is also a lot of road noise coming in around these windows. The most recent latent defect is on the back door of water leaking in around the bottom of the window my Christmas Day gift from Crystal!
I permanently have a bucket wedged up against the back door to catch the water coming in until someone from Crystal will look at it. The front door render was such a week mix the sand flakes off and washes away with water and cracked within 3 days. I have had to take out all the render and fill it with sealant myself because nobody is available. Would NOT use this company again like any body having been put through this horry story. An appointment and fixing issues are two very different things, still waiting since 16th November.
